Job Description

Responsible for complete handling of a new product by BitStream

Making sure that the product we are releasing is exactly the one that our
customers want which includes interacting with customers and
conducting Market Research
Leverage resources of the company to make the product as solid as
possible
Handling sales through existing corporate and retail channels
Building new channels in the form of existing and new Value Added
Resellers (VARs)
Recruiting and building a direct sales force to sell to the VARs
Positioning the product and developing an integrated communications
plan including advertising, promotions, etc.

Hours Required
Candidate may have to work upto 9-10 hours depending on achievement of
targets

Location
Company headquarters Cambridge
Extensive field visits may be required based on customer and product
requirements

Compensation
Total CTC - $ 120,000+ ESOPs

Fixed $ 80,000
Variable Bonus - $ 40,000

Experience

Minimum 7+ years of experience

Looking for candidates with specific experience working with VARs

Sales and Marketing experience are must haves

Experience with working with firms selling networking related products is a
necessary requisite
Candidate should have held decision making roles
Candidates should have ideally worked in both small and large companies

Reporting Person
Candidate would be reporting directly to the President of BitStream Jim Soles
