THE MAP OF A POWERFUL SESSION

My step-by-step guide to designing an effective client session

(Following the Results and Commitment approach to
coaching and healing)

INTRODUCTION
In my recent video training, we went over the Results and commitment model of
coaching, and I showed you how to use it to approach the span of a whole series
of sessions with your clients.
But what you do INSIDE every session is of course as important!
Your client should always come in super excited by the results theyve had so
far and following this map, they will! They should always start each new session
with a big realization about a block that holds them back, and complete clarity
on the work to be done here in that session. They should stop multiple times
to experience moments of consciousness as you start working to clear these
uncovered blocks, and then shift to a strong positive ending about what is
truly possible for them. This insures they always they leave the session 100%
committed to taking action in their life and to the power of the work!
It is my intention that with this map, youll be able to start your session with a
powerful intention - from both you and your client - quickly bring complete
CLARITY about the work that needs to be done during that particular session,
and how to do that work efficiently.

You will see where to use your particular modality ONLY at the right time and
how to stop for Moments of Consciousness to bring power and presence to
important breakthroughs. You will also see how to finish the session in a way that
makes sure your client will SEE the results translate into her everyday life so she
stays committed to the process.
This map is based on the process used by my Tapping Into Wealth Coaches!

MAP OF A POWERFUL SESSION

Note: for the very first session with a new client
First, address the broader process you will use: Start with an overview of how
work will unfold, particularly explaining the process of first uncovering the roots
of issues, anchoring that clarity and then moving on to your modality and
strategies. This is not the process people are used to so its important to set the
tone immediately of how you be bringing moments of clarity and presence to the
session work.
Next you need to address the modality or approach you will use: Take the time to
CLEARLY connect the dots for the client on how your modality is effective when
applied to their specific issues (which is why you use it). You must educate them
on what is in it for THEM, (not history of the approach) so that you have a first
level of buy in from the client. Then tell them what they can expect to experience
both during the session with the modality AND as typical results of the modality.
Finally, address how you will hold the energy as their coach or healer: Explain
to them your personal philosophy about healing and transformation, for example
things like: challenging them, providing a safe space, commitment to goals,
commitment to them, etc.
If necessary, touch on the agreed upon payment plan and timing of the payments
and frequency of sessions.

For example, the Tapping Into Wealth Coaches:

The TIW Coaches have a specific way of explaining how they will run sessions
in terms of getting clarity on the roots and costs of issues...and usually the client
has already experienced that once (which led them to sign up).
They also have a very practical, nuts and bolts way to explaining the modality
tapping in how it used in session to both uncovering and clearing blocks, and
mind/body/money connection which shows why it is used.
Finally they are very direct and clear about the approach to transformation ( the
no stone unturned philosophy) and the courage and support and presence...
and sometimes hard questions... they will bring to facilitate that. They explain
how they will hold energy as a coach demonstrating dogged commitment to the
clients goals and both inner and outer results, challenging them on their blinds
spots and holding the vision for their true gifts to shine and infinite possibility of
what can unfold for them.
In each subsequent session use these steps:

1. Set intention for work powerfully.

Reconnect on goals, progress, important aha moments, the wow, this is

bigger than just money moments. Restate your commitment to their inner
transformation and the outer markers of their goals in terms action, progress
and achievement that represent a journey to a place where life is being and
feeling radically different.

2. Look for and address any resistance

Clients are always in some state of resistance and/or fear about the changes
and the process. They can fear overwhelm, or that it wont work, or that if it does
work they will be too different or their life or relationships will change too much.
When you create the space and opening to voice and honor these fears they will
feel relieved and heard...and a little afraid of being judged. It is important to hold
compassionate space for this resistance and it helps GREATLY to tell the client it
is normal and you expect it...that is why you asked!
When you do hear and address resistance and fear about the work or process,
its important to finish that part of the conversation by reminding and reconnecting
to WHY you are doing the work ....what the goal is!

3. Work the Clarity Process for that session.

Start with a process that will diagnose the what is keeping client stuck so that you
can gain insights for priorities, get client goals, deliver immediate aha moments
and value, connect mind/body/money dots (or the connect the dots to your
modality). If you already know what you are working on, re-diagnose the issue so
it is UP and activated and obvious to the client.
Continue on session by session working through what is uncovered in each
session and moving to next phase of uncovering and work. The processes and
focus you chose should be guided by both the individual work (what the client
needs in that session) and the flow from your structure of processes that take the
client to places in the work that YOU know they need to go to transform.
Tapping Into Wealth Coaches use over a dozen unique processes each leading
to the next to get to all aspects of money and wealth blocks. Each process can
span many sessions as it reveals other issues and deeper issues that become the
next priority with that individual client.

4. Stop for MOCs: Moments of Consciousness

When you recognize significant events in the session STOP and take time to
presence it and how big it is! For example, significant events can be: the true
roots of an issue being revealed, big emotional response, high numbers on the
1-10 suds scale, a big limiting beliefs being revealed, important statements (like...
I always tell myself I am a total loser or my parents always told me I would have
to work hard for my money)
Take time to connect dots for client on what means, and the power and impact
of what is being uncovered and all the things it effects, so they can understand
it as aha moment.Because unless you connect the dots, they wont see the
significance that you clearly see!
Let that sink in, have them write something about it down. Move to the next step
quickly.

5. Courage to bring clarity to real costs

For each Moment of Consciousness deepen the clarity by having the courage
to sit with it a bit longer and even make it a bit more uncomfortable (before you
jump in and fix it) so that the client can explore within himself the true costs. Bring
clarity about the true costs/daily costs/future costs of the what was revealed
by asking hard questions and sitting in that pain. Get agreement that needs to
change and they want it to change.

6. Choose issue to process and measure the intensity.

Decide where and what issue to start with and use the suds scale to measure
the intensity of the issue. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT so that you can
show measurable results to the client in the form of real numbers...and by making
them check in and be conscious of their before and after suds scale.
This means simply asking a client on scale of 1-10 how strong a feeling /or
sensation is if 10 is the worst.Or in the case of a limiting belief or negative self-talk
how true a statement is if 10 is completely true.
If necessary, re-do a process to insure you have triggered a reaction for starting
point measurement before you jump into the modality or approach you are using.

7. Use tapping or your modality approach.

Use the modality or approach to shift, uncover, clear issue and roots, continue
measuring and noting numerical changes. The Tapping Into Wealth Coaches
follow the specific tapping approaches and processes that match each of the
diagnostic processes (specific tapping direction and scripts).

8. Stop for MOCs.

Stop each time you see a major aha moment or root cause and review with client
to presence the power and impact. This can and should happen several times in
a session.

9. Courage to Bring Clarity to real costs:

Similarly, continue to re-presence clarity of the cost, life impact, loss etc as each
key issue is uncovered. This can and should happen throughout the session.

TRANSITIONING TO END OF SESSION

10. Shift to Awareness.

Stop each time you see a major aha moment or root cause and review with client
For example, Tapping Into Wealth Coaches can shift to consciousness tapping
focused ontapping about what was discovered, learned and cleared in session
and power of that as it relates to their stated goals and any new awareness
about what else they really want/need to be happy. This really helps the client
EMBODY the awareness of the shift instead of just knowing it mentally.
This should be thoughtfully adapted to your modality and/or can just be a
summary by you.

11. Review aha moments and measurable shifts.

Get clarity and agreement on what has been accomplished, how it is connected
to goal and what is next to work on that is important to reach their goal.

12. End with strong positive and visual suggestion.

End with Strong positive and visual suggestion of what client should expect to
feel, see world differently, and very importantly what specific things to notice the
absence of and give follow up homework, handouts, tapping scripts etc and
book next meeting.
Tell them if anything comes up to reach out as a quick conversation is better than
waiting until the next session.

Note, this may seem like a lot but over time it will quickly become habit and it
will lead to clients who are MORE AWARE of their own progress and the power
of your work. This means they can and will be more vocal to people in their life
about their growth and progress AND about you and your amazing work! Yay
referrals!
