    Thermography at VGO-HDS exchanger


    The inspected exchanger was VHE-05 which is an air fin exchanger with 8 sub
    exchangers. The A, B, C, D are made of duplex stainless steel while the rest is
    made of carbon steel. The duplex part has a different telltale hole than the
    carbon steel part. The telltale holes at carbon steel has a pinhole because it is a
    two plug arrangement while the duplex is single plug arrangement. The inlet
    temperature is 170c while outlet is 40c. The telltale holes are for detecting leaks.
    The VGO from CDU II goes into VGO HDS from where it is routed to FCCU.
