1. How to change the language to English.

The very simple method is install the startsettings apk via usb stick.

It will prompt dialog to get access installing 3rd party apps. Click the left one and then select
option in the second row, change it to the other one.

Here is the startsettings if you succesfully installed.

Change the language in the language option and change it to english.

2. Root Mi TV 3 with Kingroot 4.8. (Download here: http://www.kingroot.net/)

Rooting via application is very easy. All you need is a mouse since the apps doesnt work with
remote.

It will took some minutes, just wait, no need to panic. When its done, install root checker to

verify.

3. Installing Google apps.

Installing Gapps is tricky, because you can install it but it wont work. Fist of all, install the all
Gapps service, framework etc. It is easier to install it using google installer.
Google
installer .apk (1009.36 KB, Downloads: 1364) . After all of the gapps installed,
then you have to install /system/app mover root apk (google it). Move all of Gapps to
system apps, it will ask for reboot, reboot the tv.

Youtube for android tv work flawlessly and you can choose the video quality.

P.S. : If you still have connection problem, maybe you need to change
ro.product.locale.language and ro.product.locale.region using build.prop editor or
morelocale2

P.S.S.: As I said earlier this is not tutorial, when updating google play service, google play store
and mi apps store always crashed. I still dont know what causing it, if you have solved this,
please share.
**update the google play service from browser, just type "google play service" and click the top
one, it will rediredt to google play store then update it.
