DESIGN FOR CONVETIONAL HALL

1.1.1

DESIGN FOR PRESTRESS BEAMS

Architechral designer has proposed long span beam carrying tremendous loads.
Conventional reinforced concrete beam design is commonly utilized to withstand loads are
transmitted from slab into beams. In sustainability point of view, conventional reinforced beams
integrated with any types of reinforced concrete floors is essential. Nevertheless, big cross
sectional beams may yield to substantial creep by time and leads to catastrophical deflection in
the long term. Thereby, it is significant to avoid the long term potential creep and long term
deflection by designing and constructing prestressed precast beams.
