My name is Dalton Bryce Keys. I am the son of Ron and Brenda Keys.

I was born on
March 20, 1999 and I am currently a senior at Tawas Area High School. From a young age I
have enjoyed learning and strove for knowledge. I am fascinated with invention and innovation
which has drove me to pursue an engineering career. I believe that my extensive creativity will
benefit in anything that I intend to do.
I am currently involved in multiple athletics at my school. From these, I have picked up
multiple life lessons that I apply in my life, and have shaped me into the individual I am today.
My participation in football and track have taught me persistence, leadership, teamwork, and
mental toughness. These activities have taught me to step through adversity rather than back
down. These sports have strengthened my motivation. I am a very competitive person, and
through hard work and dedication, I was able to augment my athletic abilities to receive the
Most Improved Award.
My work ethic extends beyond the field as well. I value my education just as much as
my hobbies. I have worked to continue my education and by doing so have reached the top ten
at my high school. I have also been able to apply my new skills at my job at Dennys Auto
Sales. When I first started working, communicating with customers was a weak point, but
through experience, I am now able to clearly and confidently communicate with people. My
attention detail has also become much greater. In addition, I feel that I could not have
accomplished what I have without the help of the people in the community. So, I have
volunteered over 35 hours through the National Honor Society to give back to the community.
In the future, I plan to continue my education and pursue a career in engineering. I think
that my creativity and problem solving skills will help me succeed in anything that I do.
