EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The main goal of the business is to earn profit thru selling and distributing
coal to different businesses and manufacturers. The business does not only focus on
merchandising coal but also advocates the use of clean coal as source of energy
and electricity.
Coal has a lot of significant uses and can generate variety of main and by
products, that is why to the knowledge of the researchers, coal merchandising
business is very marketable and feasible. There may be many possible business
outcomes that might affect the forecasting of this business including environmental
effects, technologies, political and social environment and other factors that is why
the study needed thorough research and analysis.
COAL CENTER was created because Zambales is one of the largest mining
depot which contains millions of tons of coal deposits and we wanted our
partnership to be the CENTER distributor of these minerals. The business will be
located in San Antonio, Zambales where one of the partners of the business owns a
vast area of land that can be strategic and significant to the business.
The business will also be beneficial to the public and the government for we
are promoting technologies and researches that can minimize pollution due to large
emission of harmful chemicals in coal power generation processes. Coal fueled
power source are yes cost efficient but are feared because of the emission of
pollutants like CO2, sulfur and others but with the process of using clean coal, this
disadvantage can be addressed efficiently and will be one of the main focus of the
study.
Lastly the researchers that conducted this study are all from the area of
Zambales and are trying to learn new ways and ideas to promote a product of our
own that will eventually known and accepted as leap of progress for the country of
the Philippines, in this case our clean Coal power generation.
