Show and Tell:

Thursday bring
something that start
with the letter Gg.

Literacy Inquiry:
We will be learning all about letter G ,
making a gorilla craft, decorating our letter
G with glitter, and many more fun activities.
We will continue reviewing all the sight
words but, this week the focus will be on the
word no.
Math Inquiry :
We will review 3 dimensional shapes vs. 2
dimentional shapes. We will review the
differences between 2D and 3D using the
poem, manipulatives, videos, songs and
many other fun activities.
Unit of Inquiry : sharing the planet
Central Idea: The interdependence of insects
and other living things impact our
environment.
This week we will be defining & explaining
how all living things are interdependent us
touching upon food chains and extinction .

Home Connection
Encourage your child to go on "Shape Hunting Walks." This can be easily done on the way to the supermarket or
playground. Also be a scientist and discuss with your child how we depend on other living things and how other
living things depend on us. Please have your child write their name with you for an easy home assessment and
send it to school as a review activity! At this point they should ALL be able to write their names independently
and clearly. Thanks and have a great week !
