A quadrilateral is a closed figure with four line segments. It has four
vertices, four angles and four sides.
Classification of quadrilateral:(i)
Parallelogram: - Two pairs of opposite lines parallel and equal.
Opposite angles are equal. Diagonal of parallelogram are unequal
but bisect each other.

(ii)
(iii)
(iv)
(v)
(vi)

Rectangle:- Two pairs of opposite line segment are equal & parallel
to each other . Each angle of a rectangle is 90. Diagonal are equal
& bisect each other.
Rhombus:- All sides are equal and opposite angles are equal.
Diagonal are unequal but bisect each other 90.
Square:- all sides are equal and each angle is 90. Diagonal are
equal and bisect each other at 90.
Trapezium:- One pair of line segment are parallel. If a isosceles
trapezium has non parallel sides are equal is called isosceles
trapezium.
Kite:- Adjacent sides are equal and diagonal intersect each other at
90.

Answer the question on the basis of paragraph:Name the quadrilateral which have equal diagonal.
How many pairs of line parallel in a trapezium.
