Dear Mr.

President,
This is a desperate plea on behalf of the citizens of the United States of America. Please stop
wasting your energy on the absolutely petty things you currently do on a daily basis. We do not care
about the size of the crowd at your inauguration, so you can stop making official statements about it. We
do not care to have the leader of our nation tell us about television ratings on Twitter. We do not care to
have our leaders wing-woman use the term alternative facts, that is frightening. Your lack of ability to
handle criticism is terrifying and grotesque. An estimated half million people protested you in the capital
alone, and how do you respond? By asking why they did not vote. Obviously, everyone protesting you
voted. A more appalling response to that protest is almost unimaginable.
Why did you terrify so many of us with your inaugural address? Instead of making an attempt to
reach the majority of a nation who, this is not an alternative fact Mr.President, did not vote for you, you
decided to speak only of the carnage and divide the country even more. It honestly seems like your words
and actions are deliberate attempts to force opposition in your direction. You must know how divisive you
are, and if you do not than you are mentally unfit to hold the title of President of the United States of
America and should be removed from office immediately.
Mr. President, the majority of our nation does not blindly accept your words. And we have
incredible reason never to do so. You mislead and deceive way more than we are comfortable with. To be
honest, we are afraid you wake up every day in a reality outside of ours. Regretfully, lets talk about your
inauguration crowd just one more time to nail down the fear you do not live in our reality. You said that the
media intentionally downplayed and skewed the attendance. When you looked up from the podium, you
saw a sea of people. Mr. President, that sea of people was not as large as you think it was no matter how
hard you wanted to see it that way.
It does not seem like you fully understand the duties of your new job. We are not experts on the
intricacies of government, were sure you can relate to that, but we know what to expect from a President.
Presidents are supposed to make every citizen feel welcome, safe, and ensured that our best interests
are always the intent. By not taking the advice of the Office of Government Ethics and divesting into a
blind trust, we can literally never know what your true motives are. You once told an anecdote about a
conversation you had with your father. He told you to never trust anyone, and then proceeded to ask if
you trust him. You responded Of course, you're my dad. He returned, What did I just-. Do you
understand our frustration that you havent shown us your tax returns and want us to believe you that our
interests are above your businesses? Do you understand our frustration that your administration is trying
to push through your appointees without proper vetting? Judging from your immigration policy
suggestions, you should be a huge fan of vetting.
Russia is a major concern of ours. It is perplexing that you will attack or insult seemingly
everyone other human being on the entire planet except Vladimir Putin. He has blatantly committed
atrocities across the globe, but if one were to only form their opinion of him from listening to you, that
person would think he was a pretty stand-up guy. Why, Mr. President? We want to get to the bottom of a
foreign entity trying to mess with our stuff. One can only imagine what you would have done if China was
accused of helping Hillary Clinton. Sure youd have burst blood vessels at the podium!
America believes in human-caused climate change. If you are about to restore power to the
people, this is one very dire cause. But what do you? Appoint a man who refuses to accept we are the
cause and has repeatedly sued the EPA, which he now heads. One point we would like to make is that
even if climate change ends up not being as serious as the majority of the scientific community is warning
us it is, why take the risk? As a businessman, you should absolutely realize the risk-reward ratio here. If
an engineer told you he thinks Trump Tower could be sinking, but at such a slow pace it would take years
for a definitive decision, we doubt your reaction would be inaction. So lets not do that with our one, fragile
planet we got stuck with.
As of now, we view you as an ill prepared, immature, inarticulate, reckless, dubious, misogynistic,
petty, dangerously mercurial man. You invoke genuine fear in people of the nation you now lead. These
words were never supposed to be uttered about the United States of America. Mr. President, we gravely
plea to you to change your ways. Act like a President, a world leader of the greatest nation on Earth. We
do not want a loud, lambasting, alternative fact, populist, isolationist dictator-esque man. Cut it out. NOW.

P.S. We also do not want to hear how very or so great, magnificent, beautiful, amazing or terrific
everything that happens is. Expand your vocabulary so we can listen to you speak for the next four years
without feeling like were getting dumber.
