sometimes used to distinguish it from the unrelated red

second-largest living cat after the tiger.

The cheetah /tit/ (Acinonyx jubatus ) is a large felid of

the subfamily Felinae that occurs mainly in eastern and
southern Africa and a few parts of Iran. The only extant
member of the genus Acinonyx , the cheetah was
first described by Johann Christian Daniel von
Schreber in 1775.
Snakes are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of
the suborder Serpentes[2] that can be distinguished
from legless lizards by their lack of eyelids and external
ears. Like all squamates, snakes
are ectothermic, amniote vertebrates covered in
overlapping scales.

Monkeys are haplorhine ("dry-nosed") primates, a group

generally possessing tails and consisting of about
260 known living species. There are two distinct lineages
of monkeys: New World
Monkeys and catarrhines. Apes emerged within
the catarrhines with the Old World monkeys as a sister
group, so cladistically they are monkeys as well.
Scorpions are predatory arachnids of
the order Scorpiones. They have eight legs[1] and are
easily recognized by the pair of grasping pedipalps and
the narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a
characteristic forward curve over the back, ending with
a venomous stinger.
A frog is any member of a diverse and
largely carnivorous group of short-bodied,
tailless amphibians composing the order Anura (Ancient
Greek an-, without + oura , tail). The oldest fossil "protofrog" appeared in the early Triassic of Madagascar,
but molecular clock dating suggests their origins may
extend further back to the Permian, 265 million years
ago.
