Internship Program at American International University of Bangladesh. I would like to thank
him for guiding me with his superior knowledge, experience and care.
I would like to thank my intern supervisor, Mr. rounak Adnan Islam (SPO And Manager,
Tejgoan Branch), at Agrani Bank Ltd. for always making time to help, guide me and provide
valuable advice about the work process of ABL, which aims to create an open minded
environment for me and help me for work freely in every desk of the branch.
I would also like to thank my all colleagues, managers and employees whom I interviewed, for
giving me their time and providing the information I needed for primary data collection.

Executive Summery
Banking is a very important sector for the development of any economy. Agrani Bank Limited is
one of the most renowned banks of our country, which is successfully operating, from several
decades. I have worked in this bank for completing my internship program. I have chosen this
topic of my internship reports because I worked here and it helps me to learn the standard
banking system.
This helps to know the overall function of the Agrani Bank Limited. While I worked, I had to
know the deposit system, clearing and accounts department, loan sanctioning process. I had seen
different types of account that were provided by the ABL as well as the procedure of opening,
maintain and closing of them. the process of how to sanction or grant a loan, the types of loan
etc.
Ive tried to identify the problem and find out the solution of this traditional banking system and
provide some suggestion that may support for the betterment of the system throughout
comparing it with other banks.
