Making the Most of Your Results

Congratulations! You have successfully administered the 2016 Gallup Student Poll to your students. You are committed
to measuring what matters for student success. The Gallup Student Poll provides actionable results to support your
quest to engage students today and make them ready for tomorrow. Ultimately, it is how you use the results to identify
and take the right actions that will influence student success. To assist you, Gallup offers several ways to interpret
and use your Gallup Student Poll scorecard to build engagement, create hope, foster talent and prepare students to
participate meaningfully in the economy.

The interactive Gallup Student Poll course Making the Most of Your Results is available online, in person at
locations throughout the U.S. or on-site at your school.

This toolkit includes several user-friendly tools to use with your team to help you make the most of your Gallup
Student Poll results.
3) Gallup Student Poll Coaching Call

This 30-minute or one-hour coaching call with a Gallup Senior Education Consultant provides personalized guidance
on and analysis of your schools Gallup Student Poll results.
4) Data and Analytics

Districts can view and analyze their Gallup Student Poll data via the Tableau Online analytics tool. Gallup analysts
can also provide customized data solutions for districts.

Data and Analytics


Description
School districts can purchase a license to access their schools Gallup Student Poll data via Tableau Online. This
analytics program provides numerous options for visualizing and analyzing data. Gallup analysts can also conduct
advanced analytics such as aggregating school data or other advanced statistical operations for districts.
What to Expect
A Tableau Online option includes data visualizations and disaggregated data by specific questions in the Gallup
Student Poll questionnaire such as by grade level, gender and age. The deliverable data include engagement, hope,
entrepreneurial aspiration and career/financial literacy elements. Gallup also provides demographic data at the school
and district levels. Districts can compare trended data from the previous years engagement, hope, entrepreneurial
aspiration and career/financial literacy elements as well as item outcomes at the school and district levels using scatter
plots and line graphs. Districts also receive overall Gallup Student Poll U.S. public school data comparisons by overall,
elementary, middle/junior high and high school of current and last years data.
