Personal Efforts
-if a student missed a day of class, it is expected they do an active make-up on their own
If you are absent you can take part in an Active Make-up at home. You should do 30 minutes of exercise on your own and write a paragraph
about your activities and why you feel it was a good way to make up for the time you missed in PE class. The paper should be approved and
signed by a parent or guardian. Any absent work that is turned in should be done within a week of the missed class; Miss Carnell is very
aware that there may be extenuating circumstances (ex. Doctors excused absences) that do not allow for this and an alternative assignment
will be given
4- Student is always prepared for class (ex. Dressed in appropriate clothes/shoes 100% of the time) and works hard to do his/her best; energetically involved in all activities.
3-Student often tries hard to do his/her best; participates in all activities but has to be reminded once. Student is unprepared 1 time for class (ex. does not have appropriate
clothes/shoes.)
2-Student needs to be addressed regarding actively taking part in lesson more than once and student is unprepared for class 2 times
1- Student tries but will give up easily and has to be reminded several times to actively take part in class activities. Student is unprepared for class more than 2 times.
0-Student makes little or no effort to actively participate.
