Welcome to SEA!

LaTanya Robinson
Head Secretary

The School of Engineering and Arts, rooted in the


STEAM philosophy, will provide a Stimulating and
Engaging Atmosphere that fosters all students
innate curiosity and joy of discovery to achieve
high levels of success. Students will positively
contribute as citizens in a diverse and global
community.

The Mission of SEA

Students will be empowered critical thinkers,


innovators, and collaborative
problem-solvers.

The integration of STEAM will be embedded


within the partnership of active parental and
community support.

A culture of family

At TED 2002, Mae Jemison, a doctor,


dancer, and the first African American
woman in space, said, The difference
between science and the arts is not that
they are different sides of the same
coin or even different parts of the
same continuum, but rather, they are
manifestations of the same thing. The
arts and sciences are avatars of human
creativity.
