Using the USB device

You can use an USB port to plug in an USB device.

Connect the USB device after turning on the engine.
Make sure that the USB device is properly inserted.
Audio system supports only the music files in USB devices but not images & videos.
Audio system recognizes USB devices formatted in FAT 12/16/32 (preferably FAT 32) formats only.
Some USB devices may not be compatible with the audio system.

How to Solve USB Compatibility Issue?

Audio system supports most of the USB devices.
If your audio system does not support any USB device, please try the following steps :
1.

Insert the USB device into your PC.

2.

Open My Computer.

3.

Right click on the USB Local Drive.

4.

Select Format from the dropdown.

5.

Change the File System to FAT 12/16/32 (preferably 32) and click Close.

Now you can copy the music files into the USB device and when you insert it into the audio, it will recognize the USB device.
