Course Description:

This course deals with the understanding, enjoyment and expression of feelings and ideas
through the different forms of arts. It includes theories and principles of aesthetics and
exposes the students to some activities essential to the appreciation of art.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the semester, the students shall be able to:


1. Acquire comprehensive understanding of the vision, mission, goals and objectives
of the college.
2. Internalize the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the college to achieve
excellence in education.
3. Develop his ability to perceive, understand and appreciate what the artist intends
to put into a particular creation/work of art.
4. Develop student's creative self-expression.
5. Enrich student's life along arts and culture, the essence of fine and beautiful
living.

Class Policies
1. College rules on attendance and proper class decorum will be strictly enforced.
2. Wearing of I.D. and prescribed uniform is a must.
3. Dropping must be done before the midterm examination; otherwise a failing grade will be incurred.
4. Cut -off grade in quizzes, exams, etc. is 50%.
5. A student is considered late when he/she comes to class 15 minutes after the start of the class.
