PARRICIDE CASE
On February 23, 2016, at about 9:15PM, Taylo St. Brgy. Pio del Pilar,
Makati City. The mutilated body of the victim Mrs. Rowena Cobalida Kuo, 47
yrs. old, was found by her two children; Joanne Jane Tiongco and Ywey Kuo,
inside the stock room and in a cabinet located at the third floor of their
house. And the suspect, the victims own husband, Mr. Yuan-Chang Kuo, 46
yrs. old, a surgeon, confessed to the police for the crime committed. He
claimed that he killed his wife because of jealousy.
Ms. Tiongco, 20 yrs. old ,the victims daughter on her first husband,
said that her mother went missing on Monday morning, February 22,2016
which she and her brother believed that their mother just bought something
according to their father. At around 2:30AM Tuesday, Ms. Tiongco dreamt of
her mother speaking to her in the stockroom. She suddenly woke up and felt
something bad happened to her mother. Taking a cue to her dream, together
with her brother, they went to the stockroom and they saw first the torso,
hands and feet of their mother covered on a green bed sheet. They also
discovered 9 bloodstained butchers knives and a pair of scissors. They later
discovered the head of their mother inside a cabinet on the couples room.
The suspect claimed that he killed his wife using a heavy duty knife as
reported on Thursday, February 25,2015. Also, the Makati Police retrieved
the arms and legs of the victim dumped inside the septic tank of their house.
The internal organs are apparently disposed in the said septic tank. The
Investigator-in-charge said that all of the victims body part need to be
recovered first before they could file a charge of parricide against the
suspect.
