H. Adapts the learning environment to accommodate the differing needs and diversity
of students;
Blog 9: In this blog, I talk about the process of planning my connected lesson assignment
for my internship. Planning this lesson was difficult and new for me because I had not had to
collaborate with anyone before. For my other observations, I made the lesson plan with my CT
and did not have to think about the students in any other classes. Because this lesson was
spanned across two /three days, I was required by the principal to work with the other two interns

Final Thoughts
The growth that I have made throughout the semesters in the College of Education
program has been very apparent to me. I notice not only a difference in the quality of my written
assignments, but I also notice this when I am teaching in front of my students. I have more
confidence in what I am teaching and I have more confidence in my classroom management
skills. Some of my strengths include FEAP 2.f. Maintains a climate of openness, inquiry, fairness
and support. One of my main goals for my future classroom is for my students to feel welcome
and accepted. My classroom will be their second home and I want to do everything in my power
to support each and every one of my students.
Although I have made improvement, there are still some things I want to work on next
semester. The main FEAP I want to focus on is FEAP 2.A . Organizes, allocates, and manages
the resources of time, space, and attention. I easily find myself getting really invested in a lesson
and loosing track of time, or going too fast and having to fill the excess time. I have a tendency
to give the whole class extra time on something they are struggling in without taking into
consideration the things we still have left to do. I have been working on this with my CT by
setting timers on my phone when I am supposed to move on to the next part of a lesson, I even
got a watch so that I can easily keep trach of time.
Teachers are constantly reflecting and improving on their practice. I aspire to never be
stagnant when it comes to teaching and always work on improving myself for the sake of my
students. I want to be open to new ideas as I want my students to have a voice in my classroom. I
feel like I am on the right path to achieving this but I still need a lot of work!
