SUNDAY, JANUARY 29
ATTEND MASS WITH YOUR FAMILY
What an awesome way to begin Catholic Schools Week! Pray for our school, our families and our
staff; and thank God for His abundant blessings! 9:30 morning Mass is our Winter Sports Mass and
Cameron Lozon will be on hand at the end of Mass to tell us how attending St. Pius and Gabriel Richard
has prepared her in life and for the future! Dont forget that children can bring up non-perishable food
during the offertory for the food bank.
MONDAY, JANUARY 30
SUPERHERO DAY
Superhero Wear: Wear the costume of your favorite hero (Halloween or home made) Wear a towel for a
cape, put a letter on your shirt, make up your own hero or choose your Dad, Mom, coach, teacher or
anyone who is your hero!!
Appreciate your hero: An appreciate your hero activity will take place during class.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 31
SPIRIT AND SPORTS DAY
Spirit Wear: Show your school spirit! St. Pius Gym Uniforms OR Spirit Wear, including hooded
sweatshirts (hooded sweatshirt must be removed for kickball/volleyball), sweat pants, warm up suits &
tennis shoes
OR
Sports Wear: Students may wear sports apparel with logos of their favorite teams (school/professional).
Tennis shoes must be worn for kickball/volleyball.
Kickball/Volleyball: Grades K-5 will play kickball in the morning. Grades 6-8 will play volleyball in
the afternoon. The Annual 8th Grade vs. St. Pius Staff Volleyball Game will begin at 2:15 in the gym.

WEDNESDAY, FEBUARY 1
WACKY WEDNESDAY
Crazy Clothes/Hair/Hats: Students may color their hair with washout spray; however, the spray cannot
be brought to school. Crazy hats may be worn during school. Be creative. Wear plaids/stripes; clothes
inside out/backwards; different socks/shoes Pajamas may be a choice.
Wacky activities: Drop everything and DANCE!!!
Mannequin Challenge: You may be video taped/photographed as a mannequin!
Carnival: Lots of fun in the Activity Center from 5:30-7:30 pm. Family admission price is $10 and
includes 30 Event Tickets; otherwise, admission is $3/adult and $2/student. *Tickets must be
purchased by THIS, Monday, Jan. 30. Event Tickets are 5 for $1 PRESALE AND 4 FOR $1 the night
of the event. Tickets are required for games and food (Hot dogs/chips/pop/water/popcorn). Carnival

games have a skill range from Preschool-8 and vary from 3-8 Event Tickets. There will also be one 50/50
raffle. Prize not to exceed $100.
NO HOMEWORK FOR STUDENTS!
THURSDAY, FEBUARY 2
DRESS TO IMPRESS
Parish Appreciation Day: Thank you Fr. Bob, Deacon Bob, Mr. Jerry!
All School Mass: Mass is at 8:30 Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for each other and our
Catholic Schools. Student Council Representatives will attend the Catholic Schools Mass for the
Archdiocese at the Cathedral.
Dress Up to Impress: Appropriate dress up clothing for Church.
FRIDAY, FEBUARY 3
PAJAMAS & SLIPPERS DAY
Pajamas/Slippers: Students may wear pajamas (including flannel pants and sweat-shirts) and slippers.
Random Reading: Students are to bring or have a book to read. Students will stop and read for an
extended period of time. Students may bring a pillow and/or throw blanket or beach towel to sit on.
PRE-ORDERED Bagels will be served from the bagel sale.
