Statement of Student Growth Goal:

During the two-week session, students will improve their knowledge of what it means to be responsible digital
citizens. All students will improve their score on a digital citizenship quiz. Furthermore, 5 out of 6 students will
answer at least 9 out of 10 questions correctly on the Digital Citizenship Quiz.

This search provided several useful links to
articles about digital citizenship. There were
also several results concerning cultural
citizenship as well as digital citizenship
concerning its influence on political
elections. A problem that I found was I was
unable to follow some of the links. The
abstracts of several links looked promising,
but I was not always able to view the article.

This is a study of a project involving
teaching students literacy skills using digital
citizenship through the medium of video
games and game design. This study involved
the game Minecraft. The research study
provided god ideas for teaching digital
citizenship and connecting with students in a
very practical way. The study also provided a
good example of a research study using
triangulated methodology in collecting data.
