As a follower of the Mahatama, he taught us in many ways and many point of
views from many religions. He used teachings from many religions to relate to his point of view. Ghandi is an educated lawyer; he saw that the British were using violence against the Indians, which wasnt fair. Many educated Indians including Ghandi stated, we have the right to stand the trial, we as in all of the Indians. The British noticed that the Indians were protesting and were a trouble to them, so the British used their power at that time to stop the Indians from protesting by imprisoning nationalist protesters without the trial. This is called the Rowlatt act. The British not only controlled the politics, they also forced us to buy salts from them. This wasnt fair for all of us. Our leader, Mahatama Ghandi, united the Muslim league and the Hindus Indian national congress party together and we started the Salt March. We marched to the sea to make our own salt instead of buying salt from them. We all followed Mahatamas footsteps and tried to shutdown the salt-processing site without using any violence, we provoked them without using words but disrupting them from processing salt peacefully. The officers hit us with a club on our unprotected skulls. If I were to guess, it was Mahatamas plan to have the American journalist around that to be our witnesses. However, we are lucky to have them to be our witnesses. This led to our partially independence of India, and we gain international support along against many countries pressuring against the British. We were very happy to make this movement against the British; he taught us to be the difference. Ghandi once said Be the change you want to see in the world - Mahatama Ghandi -
