STUDY OF LEUKEMIA THROUGH KP

History
One of my relations, a lady teacher while dressing to go to school in one morning
had got sever itching all over the body and had gone to the family doctor instead of
school. After a thorough checking the doctor had advised her to go to hospital. She had
been admitted to hospital and after some medical investigations doctors have revealed
that she is attacked by Leukemia and immediately transferred to the Cancer Hospital.
On hearing this story I was persuaded by myself to read her chart.
Birth Detail
Gender: Female, Date: Sunday, 16/Feb/1964, Time: 10:16:00 PM SID:
07:48:52, Place: Gampaha, Western, Sri Lanka, Lat: 07:05:00 N Lon:
80:00:00 E, Ayanamsa: 23 15' 58", Lagna: Libra, Star: U.Bhadra, Pada 4,
Bal. Dasa: Saturn 4 Y, 7 M, 9 D (Example chart No. 01)
Lagna Sub Venus, the Lord of Lagna and 8 is located in the 6th in a star of
Saturn Lord of 4 & 5 conjoined with Moon the Lord of 10 and also sub Lord of 7. The 6th
Cusp is owned by Jupiter and Star and sub is Saturn. It is in the Star of Mars the Lord of
2 & 7 in 5. Saturn has no any direct signification with house 1, but with Trine aspect to
house 1.
Mars (Blood & Marrow)Lord of 2 & 7 (Maraka & Badahka), Sun (Blood)the Lord
of 11 in positional strength and 6th Sub Lord Saturn the Lord of 4 & 5 are conjoined with
each other in the 5th house. Although 5th of this chart is the house of recovery from the
illness, it denotes Liver, Gold Bladder and Spleen in a human body and among them
Spleen is the manufacturer of White Blood Corpuscles, which destroy body by forming a
nucleus for mineral deposits and principally it is a work of Saturn. In addition 5th house
Aquarius rules over the Circulatory System of the body.
Moon the main Karaka for this disease, is conjoined with Lagna & Venus the
Lord of 8 in the 6th house, Pisces a Watery sign. Moon is in the Star of Saturn the Sub of
6th. Hence Moon is a significator for 6th and connected with Lagna. By being the Lord
of 6th, Jupiter+(Blood)is deposited in the same sign of his own. By this I could have an
idea that the blood related planets Moon(6), Mars(2, 7), Sun(2, 7) and Jupiter (6, 12) are
capable in making this disease.
After some times I got another natal chart of a lady for making an auspicious
muhurath for a house construction. On my study of the chart, I found that the 6th
Cuspal sub Lord Jupiter is under the co-rulers of Mars - Saturn - Kethu and aspecting
the Lagna Bhawa. When the native visited to collect the Muhurtha I questioned her
whether she had undergone any blood related disease. At once she said "Yes, yes, it is
Leukemia". (Natal Chart detail are given under No. 02)
Again I took the above two charts and analysed deeply to see the planetary
reasons for Leukemia. In both charts I found two similar facts. (1) Moon or Saturn is
anyway connected with the 6th cusp and (2) Moon and Saturn are anyway connected
with each other.
Keeping this in mind I could made a deep study in connection with Leukemia by
using some more Leukemia attacked charts with the courtesy of Astro Data Bank. Before

I take you to my study, I wish to make a brief introduction of Leukemia in Pathology and
Astrology.
What is Leukemia?
In Pathology - Blood consists of three types of cells and cell fragments floating in
liquid called plasma. These cellular components are:
1. Red Blood Cells ("erythrocytes," "RBCs") - oxygen-carrying cells
2. White Blood Cells ("leukocytes," "WBCs") - cells that help make up the body's
immune system
3. Platelets ("thrombocytes") - fragments of cells that play an important role in
formation of blood clots.
The total number of white blood cells normally ranges from 4 million to 11 million cells
per milliliter of blood. Leukemias are a group of diseases characterized by an abnormal
increased numbers of white cells in the blood and bone marrow.
In Astrology
White Blood Corpuscles- These are said to be destroyers of the body and to form a
nucleus for mineral deposits. They are manufactured in the Spleen and are principally
the work of Saturn. During anger and also during diseases and various afflictions, they
pass through the wall of the blood vessels and deposit themselves in weakened or
diseased tissues and form a nucleus for the increased deposit of mineral wastes of the

KP Rules for Leukemia
1. Moon produces the cancer of the blood.
If the Sub Lord of the 6th cusp is Moon, then breast cancer and blood cancer.

2. If the Sub Lord of the 6th cusp is either Moon or Mars and connected to houses 4, 6
and 12 and also watery signs, there will be the disease of Blood Cancer. (Ibid - Pg 129)
3. Blood is mainly under the rule of Sun and Mars (Ibid - Pg 5)
4. Jupiter also in charge of Blood.(Ibid - Pg.129)

5. The present of Rahu and Neptune in 4th indicates adulteration in Blood and impedes
free flow or the Blood. (Ibid - Pg. 129)
6. Jupiter is also planet for Blood and Blood circulation. Jupiter also an important
planet for this disease of "Cancer" (Ibid - Pg. 130)
7. House of Blood is 8th (Ibid - Pg. 130)
8. 4th House controls Blood. (Ibid - Pg. 130)
However What I have found is much similar to the hint given by Dr. H.L.Cornell,
which goes to the account of Saturn and also Moon. For this study I have taken 23
randomly selected natal charts of Leukemia category in ADB and o2 natal charts as said
above.

1. Saturn or Moon is anyway connected with the 6th, house of disease. -100%
2. Saturn and Moon are connected any way like Punarphoo. - 100%
3. Interference of Jupiter with Saturn & Moon or/and its co-rulers (Lord of Sign, Star &
Sub) or house of diseases. - 100%
Conclusion
Saturn or Moon is connected with the 6th cusp
and
Saturn and Moon are connected each other in any manner
and
Jupiter is connected with Moon or Saturn or its co-rulers or 6th house in
any manner
the native may suffer from Leukemia.
