Objective
Philosophy

Competencies

Education

To obtain a meaningful full-time position teaching any subject matter or grade level. I
am looking for a positive, supportive school in which to begin my teaching career.
I am a recent University of Alberta BEd Middle Years graduate. I am extremely
passionate about creating a community classroom in which every participant is
empowered and engaged. Following high school I participated in the Katimavik youth
volunteer program through which I was able to travel across Canada while engaging in
significant volunteer work/projects. Through self-reflection I realized that I am
passionate about our environment and about helping others. For this reason I have
decided that the best way to contribute to society is to inspire passion in young people,
for it is our youth who determine our future.
Lifelong Learner
I actively seek opportunities to learn as much as I can in order to be the best
possible version of myself, personally and professionally.
Demonstrate a Professional Body of Knowledge
I consistently design learning activities to fuel students drive for success while
accounting for multiple intelligences and student diversity.
Foster Effective Relationships
I truly care about the wellbeing of my students and colleagues and strive to
create lasting, positive relationships.
Establishing Inclusive Learning Environments
My classroom is a place where all students are valued and celebrated.
