Introduction

Recognition Day is a day to celebrate success. It is one of the most significant events in
our academic calendar as it is the time when the faculty, staff, stakeholders, students
and parents gather together in this great hall to celebrate the hard work and academic
achievement of the students of the City College of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Without further ado, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Recognition Day Program
of the City College of San Fernando, Pampanga for the SY 2016-2017, First Semester.

To formally start the program, let us all rise for the opening prayer to be led by

followed by the singing of our Philippine National Anthem to be led by City College of
San Fernando Choir.

Opening Remarks

Indeed, we are celebrating a very momentous event especially to our talented and
diverse students who will be receiving their awards and recognition. We believe that the
secrets behind this significant event are the teachers who have rendered their
invaluable service and shared their ideas and
wisdom to our students, and likewise who had guided our students to the right path and
able to sit down in this great hall and soon receive their awards up the stage in just a
few minutes time.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome and listen to the opening remarks to be given
to us by the ever gorgeous and motherly OIC -President, Ms. Tricia Gayle Bondoc.

Let us all giver her a resounding around of applause!

At this moment, we believe that not only the students should be given recognition but
also the parents who have worked so hard, gave their best to their children no matter
how hard life is, and kept on saying YES TO LIFE. Let us all take this chance and give
a warm applause to our dear parents.

The late American President Dwight Eisenhower once said Leadership is the art of
getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do
it, At this point, let us pay attention, pin our ears back as we call on the head, the father,
and a true leader, a man of service and integrity, ladies and gentlemen,
let us all stand and give a resounding around of applause to our City Mayor, Honorable
Edwin Santiago.

Thank you our dear Mayor for your inspiring words of wisdom and most especially for
gracing this momentous event.

One of the popular American novelists and poets Ernest Hemingway once said I like to
listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully. Most people never listen,
Ladies and gentlemen, may we call on the ever vibrant and
full of enthusiasm, a man dedicated to public service and a man with philanthropic
attitude, let us all give a thunderous applause to our beloved City Vice-Mayor Honorable
Jimmy Lazatin!

To break the monotony of the program ladies and gentlemen let us all welcome the
CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FERNANDO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CHAMBER
CHOIR, as they will render their special number.

Many wants being recognized, however, few are worthy of recognition. Let us
proceed to the
awarding of the top students of each department. To start with the may we

Another achievement has been fulfilled

today. I would like to say thank you to all our parents, teachers and staff, to
our City Mayor Hon. Edwin Santiago and to our City Vice-mayor Hon. Jimmy
