1. GENERAL
1.1. ATIS
ATIS 124.575
1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP) RWY 05
1.2.1. GENERAL
LVP including CAT II/III approach, landing and low visibility take-off.
The initiation of LVP will be implemented in two phases:
- The preparation phase (phase I) will be implemented when the RVR falls below
1000m and/or the ceiling is at/or below 300ft with downwards tendency and
CAT II/III operations are anticipated.
In this phase protection of sensitive areas is not yet provided.
- The operations phase (phase II) will be activated when the RVR falls below
550m and the ceiling is at/or below 200ft.
Protection of sensitive areas is provided.
Pilots will be informed by ATIS or RTF on first contact by the following standard
message:
"Low Visibility Procedures in operation."
LVP will be terminated when the RVR is greater than 800m and the ceiling is
above 300ft and a continuing improvement of these conditions is expected.
Pilots will be informed by RTF using the following standard message:
"Low Visibility Procedures cancelled at time ....."
1.2.2. GROUND MOVEMENT
Taxiing is normally restricted to one landing ACFT and one departing ACFT move-
ment at a time.
ACFT movements on the apron and TWY F after passing stopbar must only be car-
ried with guidance of Follow-me vehicle:
- for departing ACFT from parking stand to CAT II/III holding position, and
- for arriving ACFT from stopbar on TWY F (before entering apron) to parking
stand.
- Exceptionally when LVO/LVP are required due to low cloud base and visibility
is good below the cloud base, and the departing ACFT at holding position for
RWY 05 (stopbar A) is visible from the Control Tower, Follow-me guidance
from the parking stand to the holding position is not necessary.
Pilots shall report landing and after passing the end of the color coded green/yel-
low TWY centerline lights, RWY vacating (leaving LOC sensitive area).
ACFT landing on RWY 05 must exit only via TWY E, where end of green/yellow
centerline lights indicates the boundary of the LOC sensitive area.
TWY A shall be used to enter RWY 05 for departure.
Pilots shall report when airborne on TWR freq.
Low Visibility Take-off (LVTO):
Pilots wishing to conduct a guided take-off must inform ATC on start-up in order
to ensure that protection of the localizer sensitive is provided. LVTO must be
required a minimum 30 min in advance.

1.3. RUNWAY OPERATIONS


RWY 23 turn pad restrictions: 180^ turn on turn pad for ACFT with wheel base
more than 84'/25.6m is not possible.

Await marshaller when entering part of TWY F from TWY C to TWY B for all posi-
tions on apron.
On TWY F between TWY C and TWY B prohibited to ACFT exceeding a wingspan of
200/61m.
Taxilane between stands 3 thru 16 MAX wingspan 118/36m.
Taxilanes G1 and G2 MAX wingspan 78'/24m.
Taxilane G3 MAX wingspan 49'/15m.
TWY D prohibited to:
- ACFT code letter D, E and F;
- ACFT code letter C with wheel base more than 59'/18m.
TWY T for military flights only (military authorization required).

On stands A, C, D and G push-back required.
On stands G41 thru G47 push-in required.

2. ARRIVAL
2.1. CAT II/III OPERATIONS

cation required.

ATC DEP clearance and DEP INFO are available on Zagreb TWR FREQ 15 MIN
before start-up.

ACFT operators shall follow NADP1 noise abatement departure, according to
ICAO Doc. 8168 OPS/611 VOL I (PANS-OPS VOL I).
