To whom it may concern,

Hello and I hope your day is going well. My name is Alexis Velasquez and I am

applying for the position of a graduation certificate to complete my high school career. I

have attended the charter magnet high school of Buckingham for the four years of high

school from 2013-2017. Graduation, to many is the epitome of the greatest award you can

receive in a high school. It presents a symbol of accomplishments, a triumph that many can

hold the rest of their lives. I believe I'm ready to take that next step in my life.

My plan after my high school career, is to take a gap year in between going to

college. During this time of the gap year, I hope to travel to get more information about

other types of schools that I would like to attend and to get a job. I would like to get this

experience at least for one year as I will have a job during my time as a 20 year old. I will

continue to take a few classes most likely at the Solano community colleges as I have done

the two previous years, but the major priority is going to be focused on the type of schools

to attend. It is my hope that in the process of doing this senior project I will find a better idea

of what I would like to do with the life Ive been given. Thank you very much for your time
