Assessment Monitoring/Reporting (Keeps track of student data and/or generates reports for
the teacher) Allows teacher to create customized lessons for students Multi-user or
collaborative functions with others in class Multi-user or collaborative functions with others
beyond local class Accessible to students beyond the school day Accessible via mobile
devices Multiple languages Safety, security, and/or privacy features
Strengths of the Software: It has great step-by-step instructional videos and simulated practices
that can be used to better understand the material of choice. It also has a vast range of choice
topics and subjects. Each subject and topic is also tracked so you can pick up where you left of and
not lose your place.
Suggestions for Improvement: I would like to see this offered in multiple languages. Also if
games could be added to the content it would make it more fun for the students.

Description of how to implement in the class: The best way to implement this into the class
would be to have computers or tablets for all the students. This would allow the teacher to direct
the students to the content and initial video that would be covered. The video is followed by a
simulation which would allow the students to visually see what is happening and how the formulas
are being used. This would also free up the teacher should any students be confused; they could
ask the teacher for assistance. Once the martial is covered and the class has done the simulations
and practice problems, the teacher would be able to look at the results from their own computer
and adjust and help those who might be struggling to keep up. Thus allowing students who need
the extra assistance could receive it and keep up with other students and avoid being left behind.
* Examples of common instructional models include whole group, teacher-led, student self-paced, small
