Through the University of Guelph-Humber students are to participate in


placements each year. A certain amount of hours are required. These
placements have allowed me to work in early years centers with children
as young as two years old, and in the school board with children as old as
nine years old.
The total amount of hours I have completed through the university has
been 357 hours. By the end of this fourth year of university I will have
completed a total of 707 hours of volunteer experience

Assisting the classroom teacher in teaching the children curriculum based


learning plans. Providing a healthy environment for children, helping
students understand problems, encouraging students to get their work
done
