isnt four times as much.

8 = 50

Personal - 7 (38.47 sq. in.)

Small - 10 (78.5 sq. in.)

Medium - 12 (113.0 sq. in.)

Large - 14 (147.0 sq. in.)

X-Large - 16 (201.0 sq. in.)

Jumbo - 18 ( 254.3 sq. in.)

Colossal - 21 ( 346.2 sq. in.)

These are standard sizes in most major pizza chains. All but the Colossal are used by most
franchisers of the Round Table Pizza chain, which I worked at in various stints when much
younger. Typically a Colossal, aka Party Pizza, doesnt have the skin (or crust) pre-
made, it will be rolled on demand from a batch of dough in the walk-in or from combining a
large and an X-large skins.

Some outfits, like Pizza Hut, have gone to a rectangular skin, which is also typical of Unos
Chicago-style. Interesting enough, in Italy, they do make pizza, but rather than a meal of
itself, its simply bread, and not often slathered with cheese and tomato sauce. If they do
that, its as essentially what wed term a flatbread sandwich. Its considered part of
antipasto rather than the main course.

Some variance, but for round pizzas: 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, and 24 inches are common
diameters. One to four of those are offered at most pizza places.

I would say there is no standard size in the US there is a range. I work for a deep dish chain
with 200 locations and have made pizza for others. We range through 5, 7 10, and 16 inch.
The five is tiny its a kids size and the 16 is a big one which seems small on ordering until we
bring it out.

There really arent standard diameters as it varies from chain to chain and even store in
