01 Project Name Faster Payments System
Client Co-operative Financial Services, UK

Description of the project

Steria has entered into a contract to provide Services to CFS group as part
of a managed service using a combination of Onshore-Offshore resources. The
offshore processes will access the existing CFS systems via Citrix
platform. The purpose of this project is to improvise the payment System
services of the Bank by implementing the Faster Payment System in which the
transaction between the Agencies / Banks is completed within 15 seconds
instead of taking 3 normal working days as per the new norms set by Bank of
England. I have completed execution of SIT testing of BlueBird phase 2 & 3
and Rocket Release 1 with 4 other team members.

02 Project Name Financial Crime Management (FCM)

Description of the project

In 2007, the Financial Crime Management project was instigated with the
high level objective of providing a Fraud Management solution to give a
holistic view of financial crime across CFS. The initial focus will be on
payment fraud. The vision was to implement a system that could:
• provide a capability to detect outbound payment fraud and
specifically Faster Payments
• act as a single point for fraud case management
• detect multiple fraud types using its own capability
• Take feeds from existing fraud detection systems and handle them
through its case-management capability.
A solution from Norkom has been selected to meet these requirements.

Client Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)

Description of the project

This project was implemented during my outhouse training in DRDO department
Defence Terrain Research for 2 months in 2007 .The purpose of this project
was to convert the images of .bmp format into another format (.drl) to
prevent it from unauthorize access and enables only relevant scientist to
view those images.

02 Project Name Online Railway Reservation System
Purpose InHouse Training Project

Description of the project

This project was implemented during my In house training in College for 1
month in 2006 .The purpose of this project was to online reserve the
tickets via credit/debit cards. The person can view arrival /departure of
trains as well as generation of tickets at the user end. Though this
project was the basic implementation of ticket reservation but provides
immense interest and encouragement.
