Project Title : Vision MapMaker Granite (Base Product)

Description:

The Vision MapMaker Granite is a window-based application for digitization

of maps. It is a complete interactive desktop system with graphical user interface for
viewing, creating, modifying and analyzing maps. The layer-by-layer study of GIS data
involves vector digitizing, raster images, terrain elevation, creation of abstract data
surfaces and multi-layered maps. This functionality can be achieved by using enterprise-
class spatial DBMS, spatial SQL queries, scripts &programs, print layouts and 3D
visualization.

Responsibilities:

• Identified the Scenarios to be automated.

• Involved in Writing Test cases, executing the Test Cases and reviewing them
regularly.
• Report the defects and tracking the defects until closure.
• Involved in the Code Review and documentation.
• Worked Closely with Development Team to isolate, track and troubleshoot
defects.

Description:

This project is developed to help the Indian Railways to manage disaster

situations. This system will use Geographic Information System (GIS) based mapping of
railway tracks to find out the location of Level Crossings, Road over Bridges (ROB),
Road under Bridges (RUB), Railway stations (RS).
This system will also facilitate user to perform various queries about the features
based on their attributes. User will also able to find out road networks from any given
location like shortest path to reach given location. System will allow user print the
entire map or shortest map area

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and reviewing requirements specification.

• Identified test scenarios and designed test cases.
• Executed the test cases and tracked the defects.

Project Title : Web GIS Estate Management System

Client : New Mangalore Port Trust
Duration : November 2007 to May 2008

Role : Manual Tester.

Description:

Web based GIS Estate Management System, which integrates day-to-day

activities of Estate Department and allows external agencies to get related information on
the estate matters. Web application displays an interactive GIS thematic map of NMPT.
This system includes Loading of Port Map and Management Information System and
Map Activities, Reports. We used Geo server for display Map and other Map Activities.
Management Information System Includes Retrieval of information on estate matters,
display information about long-term leases online lease application processing,
Allocation and Vacating NMPT Land, Alerts for Lease period completion, monitoring of
NMPT lands and Generate Reports.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the functional specifications of the application.

• Designed test cases as per use case document.
• Executed test cases and analyzed the results.

Project Title : Vision Map Viewer

Client : Goa Electronic’s Limited.

Description:

Vision Map Viewer is an application which provides user friendly Survey/Sub

division view facility. User Can view Survey/Subdivision from single or multiple PT
Sheets by Providing Saza, Village Name, Survey and Subdivision No. In Case of view of
Chalta the input will be Saza, City , PT Sheet no. and Chalta No. Vision Map Viewer will
be working on NetBook in offline mode.
Vision Map Viewer should have facility to Transfer/Update Map Data of the
Selected Villages to NetBook from DSLR server. Input for this feature will be Saza and
Village Name. Application can be opened with valid user id and password only.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing Test Cases that ensure the product adheres to the Application
Requirements.
• Involved in Functional, Regression and Retesting.
• Executed the test cases with the clear understanding with the intent of finding the
defects.
• Co-ordination with Development Teams.
• Log the Defects in Redmine and Generate Bug Reports.
