Purpose and Relationship to Curriculum: Students will be exposed to a college campus, along with
terminology associated with the college application process. Students will also be able to identify action
steps they can take as 9th graders to prepare for post-college plans.

Pre-planning Activities with Students: In math class, students will do a data analysis of projected salaries
associated with different levels of education.

Follow-Up Activities: Students will reflect on their experience with 9th grade teachers and other students
following the event.
