Imaginary World

As things are brought back under Christs rule and authority, they are not restore to health,

beauty, and freedom.-Keller. Imagine if one day people around the world have the same idea.

Brave New World was written by Aldous Huxley in 1931. The book tells a story about the world

society in the future settle in London. It shows new technology, lifestyle, and social classes. There

ally calls the World State where civilization is originated. Nonetheless, people in the World State

society are like robots. The incubators, clothing, and soma shape the people to have their order jobs

in a certain way for Social Stability.

The incubators in Brave New World is one of the symbols that show humanity is misplaced

since humans are not produced by the way they should be. The director appears in the first chapter

at the central London Hatchery and Condition Center. While he is conducting his new student

around explaining about Bokanovskys process. It is the process used to made children in the World

State by the incubators. Huxley arranges how Bolanovskys process that One egg, one embryo,

one adult normally. But a Bokanovskified egg will bud, will proliferate, will divide. From eight to

ninety-six buds, and every bud will grow into a perfectly formed embryo and every embryo into a

full-sized of an adult.(Huxley,p.3). The evidence shows what each step goes to produce one life,

but this is not the way people do in the real world. Because there are a lot of conflict going on in our

real world, so the world needs to stabilize society. That is why the World State made people via

incubators to ensure that everyone will be happy with their life because they have ability limited.
 In the World State, some people dress the same, and some dress differently. Because they

have their own class, and clothing shows which castes individual belongs to. The castes system can

be split off into 5 castes ; Alpha, Bata, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. While the director order the

nurse to set out the colored image, and bring children, with eight-month old babies, all look

exactly alike (a Bokanovsky Group, it was evident) and all (since their caste was Delta) dressed in

khaki.(Huxley, p.16). This clearly shows that children in the World State are indicated since they

were born since they are hatching inside the incubator. As they grow up everyone has to dress

properly in the caste they belong to. It can say that in one caste there would be one ordered Job, so

people have to dress differently in different castes system, however, these people have the same

attitude because they have instructed in the same way.

Soma is one of the main compositions that World State uses to shape peoples behavior and

attitude, even though World State citizens have class to separate their ability. In the book, it states

earlier that everyone takes soma as their routine when they get a bad mood, upset, or tense from

something ,even they stay in the different classes after they take soma, it increase their desire or

want to have sex. After Benito, the conventional Alpha man, takes some ,then Lenina arrives :

Although, Henry stays in Alpha ,and Lenina is a Beta. Both of them can grab an happiness together

by sex. Hence, this can mean that even everyone are taken control ,but they have a tool to crate a

happiness.

Thus, Incubators, clothing ,and soma force people to be like robots , and shape people

behavior, classification, lifestyle ,and idea. The reason is Incubator show that people were born to

be tools for people in the higher class to make a stable society. Clothing shows that everyone has a
mandated job, and it is not a job that they want because they were born with duty, classes. Also,

Soma is a factor that shape people act without sense and knowledge to gain happiness. It imply that

even people are living differently and separately in their classes to stabilize society ,but they all

have to be happy to prevent them from conflict. This seem like a communism ,but our world have to

much conflict. Question yourself, if this world be like the Brave New World.
