1. The work done for this holiday homework will be assessed for the project work of FA 2 activity in the
subjects SCIENCE + one LANGUAGE (ENGLISH / HINDI). The student has to clearly mention on the
cover page about the language for which he/she wish to submit this project along with the Science
subject.
2. The student will submit this work as a small story book and is based on the concept of CELL, the
presentation technique used, proficiency in language and creative thinking. This will enable the
student to express his/her knowledge of biology, to develop their imagination skills, to give shape to
the characters as per the behavioural aspects given, to develop life skills, to develop their language
skills, to understand the importance of expression of thoughts in words and to deeply involve in the
subject by guided thinking.
3. The assessment parameters are also mentioned. The students should take care of each aspect very
critically.
4. The details of the work is:

Description Write a story describing the dialogue between two characters- one is
of project CELL MEMBRANE and another is NUCLEUS. As both are parts of a CELL,
one day they have started discussion about who is more important.
Frame the dialogues between these two characters where both are
trying to show their importance for the CELL regarding structural and
functional aspects. The story should give a positive message in the
end. The behaviour of these two characters is to be assumed as- the
CELL MEMBRANE is very polite, calm and problem solving personality,
while the other character the NUCLEUS is very proud, arrogant and
disrespecting others. The story should have following three partitions-
a gist of the story, the actual story in the form of comic book/short
story/one act play/movie scenes, and the message for the reader from
these characters showing the greatness of the positive character.
The project is to be submitted in a form of transparent file with hard
white/coloured sheets OR as a spirally bound pocket book/hand book.It
should be hand written and with original handmade drawings.The
cover page should be for student detail and the last page should be
used to write an acknowledgement.

5,00,000 each. The necessary adjustment in the capitals were made by introducing or
withdrawing cash. Interest on Capital is allowed at 6% p.a. You are required to compute interest
on capital for the year ending March 31, 2004.

2. Sai and Ram entered into partnership sharing profits and losses in the ratio of 2:1. Their
capitals were Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 60,000. The profit during the year were Rs. 45,000. According to
partnership deed, both partners are allowed salary, 700 per month to Sai and Rs. 500 per month
to Ram. Interest is allowed on capital @ 5% p.a. The drawings at the end of the period were Rs.
8,500 for Sai and Rs. 6,500 for Ram. Interest is to be charged @5%p.a. on drawings. Prepare
partners capital accounts, assuming that the capital accounts are fluctuating.
