Normal Setting Cementitious Cartridge for Rock Bolting

Description Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT is shrinkage compensated cementitious mortar for
anchoring purpose especially recommended when normal setting of the grout is
required and when the grouting work needs to be executed without grouting
equipment. SN states for Soil Nails and CT for cartridge.
Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT is available in cartridge form enclosed in a water
permeable membrane and protected by a polyethylene cover
Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT offers the similar benefits than Sika Rock Anchor
SN in terms of mechanical performances. It differs mainly by its packaging
type.
At the time of application, the cartridges of which the polyethylene covers have
been take out are soaked into a bucket containing clean water. Thanks to the
permeable membrane containing Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT the water is
absorbed.
This would lead to the production of a non-shrink, thixotropic cementitious grout
Additives in the grout ensure a controlled expansion to stabilize the grout and
control the water uptake to provide an optimum w/c ratio.

Uses Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT is used for the grouting of rock bolts or soils nails
(SN) for strata reinforcement in tunneling and mining to reduce roof collapses.
Sika Rock Anchor SN-CT is used when the entire length of the rock bolt is
required and when normal setting of the grout is required.
