- Acted also in self-defense, there was unlawful aggression on the part of the

victim;

- motivated by self-preservation [instinct of self-preservation more often than

not is the moving power in mans action in defending himself (People vs,
Artuz, 71 SCRA 116)]

- in defense of the right of other persons, Loreto T. Delicano and Leomar P.

Campomanes who were being attacked by Alvin Delos Reyes;

In defense of the right of my wife, who was a victim of attempted rape by the
person killed;

The killing of Alvin Delos Reyes was justified for the following
reasons:

a. Self-preservation. I acted in self-defense for there

was unlawful aggression on the part of Delos Reyes.
b. In defense of the right of other persons, particularly
Loreto T. Delicano and Leomar P. Campomanes who,
like me, were also being attacked by the Delos
Reyes; and
c. In defense of the right of my wife, ___ , who was a
victim of attempted rape by Delos Reyes.
