SUMMARY: During my career, I have been successfully involved in the accounting of operating
leases, synthetic leases, and capital leases. I managed the outflow of cash for 50 partnerships.
I hired 5 accountants and trained them using a training manual that I created for the team. To
create consistency, I establish a standard for journal entry descriptions posted to the general
ledger. On a yearly basis, I reviewed the Sarbanes Oxley narratives for financial close and
accounts receivable and updated them when necessary. I was a part of two successful
conversions of accounts receivable software. I worked with the external auditors at both Golden
Living and ERC Properties to ensure that the year-end audits requests were completed
accurately and timely. I completed the requirements to receive the Fundamentals of Forensic
