Security Council Conference VI

We would like to cordially invite your Model United Nations program to participate in our all Security Council
conference on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

This conference will be all dual-delegate and will be comprised of both Advanced and Novice committees. Depending
on delegation numbers, we also hope to have middle school specific committees as well. There will be a single topic
for the novice committees while the advanced committees will be open agenda, with suggested areas of focus. Novice
committees will award commendations, outstandings, and best delegate awards with advanced also awarding gavels.

In order to provide the highest quality debate, chairs for ALL advanced committees will be comprised of current
college students who were advanced delegates in high school. Over the past five years, we have secured enough
college chairs to cover ALL committees, including novice. If, we are short on college chairs, our novice committee
chairs will be supported by current 3rd and 4th year MUN students who will hold a high standard and respect for the
MUN process. Gahr High School is conveniently located just off the 605 freeway between the 405 and 91 freeways
making it an ideal location for schools throughout Southern California.

If you register your school prior to January 1st there will be no school registration fee!! After January 1 st the school fee
will be $50.00. Delegate fees will be $20.00 per delegate. We expect to have the Carls Jr. truck for lunch again with
vegetarian options available.
