In this unit, pupils will review and further develop their

some of the astronomers teachings.

This is followed by a section on the movements of the Earth


and the Moon, with a particular focus on tides. Pupils then

In this unit, pupils will learn to appreciate how humans came


to the conclusion that the Earth is round and how we have
come to understand the Solar System. Throughout the unit,
