Alexandru Ioan Cuza University

My name is Alexandra Mariana Rusu and Im writing hereby to apply for a position
in your institution.I am a fresh graduaded diploma from Alexandru Ioan-Cuza University,
majoring in history. I am now searching a responsible and challenging position to apply
the knowledge I have acquired into the workplace and want to succeed in a stimulating
and challenging environment that will provide me with advancement opportunities;
where I can fully use my skills for the success of the organization. As a child I dreamt of
becoming a doctor or a lawyer but even from the primary classes I have shown a deep
interest in the humanist sciences and thus I became known for my inclination in history,
politics and psychology.

Throughout my past theree years of study I constantly took part in national history
contests with visible results demonstrating an outstanding level of academic achievement
and shown a particular strength in social science research that requires analytical and
speculative approaches.I have been consistently engaged in conducting long-term and
short-term research projects in international relations, politics, human rights, modern
history and European integration.In addition to my strong academic background, I have
experience working for various not-for-profit organizations where I have acquired skills
in planning events, developing and managing organizational programs, communicating
with a diverse group of people, and administering logistics.I undertook a number of team
projects as part of my studies, so I am very comfortable working as part of a team and I
am confident in my interpersonal and communication abilities.

My salient past experience includes a course in psycho-pedagogy which offered me the

opportunity to work in the preschool education system for about two years,where I
worked as a teacher with a proven ability to teach, motivate and lead pupils to maximum
performance by encouraging a positive and energetic environment I am able to say that I
am communicative, a good listener and persuasive speaker, dynamic, determined,
patience, with a high degree of concentration.Sociable and creative, I consider that I am
also capable of coping with any situation and of facing new challenges. On a personal
level I am enthusiastic, open-minded and I have the required potential to complete any
tasks that are given.

I felt encouraged to participate in this programme by the intrinsic motivation nourished

by the desire of achieving experience in the domain, of enhancing the knowledge
acquired so far at the university. I am confident that acquiring new information would
amplify the development of new skills useful in a future career. Moreover, I should also
mention the linguistic and cultural factor. I believe that a possible cooperation with
different human types of different nationalities will have a major impact on my
development as a whole. The kind of training offered by your program is compatible with
my career interests.I have been active in many extracurricular activities at the university ,
as indicated by my resume.

I in turn, have many of the qualities that an employer looks for. If you hire me to work for
