Know all men by these presents that we George Postal Junior & Mary Ann Postal wife of said George
both of the county of Oakland & Territory of Michigan for and in consideration of one hundred & fifty
dollars paid to our full satisfaction by Nelson Madden of the same place the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged have given granted bargained & sold & do hereby give grant bargain & sell unto him the
said Nelson Madden & his heirs & assigns forever the following described piece or parcel of land lying &
being in the county aforesaid viz: being the south half of the North East quarter of section No thirty
five (35) in Township No Two (2) North of Range Nine (9) east containing Eighty acres of land more
or less.

Together with all and singular the privileges & appurtenances to the same premises belonging. To have
and To hold the premises to him the said Nelson Madden his heirs and assigns forever. An [sic] we the
said George Postal Jr. & Mary Ann Postal for ourselves our heirs executors & administrators do covenant
with the said Nelson Madden that we are lawfully seized in fee of the premises, that they are free from all
incumbrances that we have good Right to sell and convey the same in manner aforesaid And that we will
& our heirs shall Warrant & defend the same to him, his heirs & assigns against all lawful demand
Whatsoever.

In Testimony of which we have hereto set our hands and seals this 28th day of November A.D. 1829.

Oakland County } ss. Be it remembered that on the 28th day of November 1829 personally
apeared [sic] before me the under signed a Justice of the peace within & for the County aforesaid George
Postal known to me to be the person who executed the within deed & acknowledged that he executed the
same for the purposes therein contained. at the same time Mary Ann Postal wife of the said George was
examined by me separate & apart from her said husband & acknowledged that she Executed the same
for the purposes therein Contained without fear or compulsion of her said husband
