sometimes darkness wins, sometimes that's alright .

sometimes the heroes loose , sometimes the weak ones

fight. sometimes they say "we've had enough" and it makes the bondsmen rise. sometimes it's best not
being a minion. Sometimes sweet liberty is the only option. sometimes it's better to die on your feet than
to live on your knees.

if history taught mankind anything it certainly is the message of transferral of powers, the greed of rule
and wealth, ups and down of good and evil , display of puppetry and the stories of slavery and liberty.

the question is what have we learnt?

did we learn anything from the battle of Karbala. a day where the beloved of the beloved demonstrated
the highest of nobility and offered the ultimate sacrifice. a day when the prophets grandson stood up to
the oppressors and fought for the dignity of his grandfather and his creator. a moment in history where a
man refused to live on his knees and preferred to die doing the right thing .

did we learn from a tiger born in tikret. a man who was praised by his enemies. a man who delivered the
message of self nobility whit unequivocal resonance . salahuddin could not withstand watching the holy
city of Jerusalem burn under the. he rose up and he rose strong, besieged the city and in his magnanimity
made the most generous terms of surrender to the enemy and began the most peaceful and prosperous
reign the city of Jerusalem has ever witnessed. after he died what he left for us was a piece of advice.

he said and i quote

" if u want to destroy any nation without war make adultery or nudity common in young generation"

the main reason behind the demise of the mighty mughal empire was the day when tan sen and anarkali
became the subjects of prior importance to the emperors . this was the day tipu sultan

tan failed. a man who fought for sovereignty and butchered the enforcers of slavery with the brilliance of
his battle tactics but a man can't stand out alone for a nation while being stabbed by the blades of betrayal.
The emperors denied freedom to others and hence deserved it not for themselves either .

then we have the instance of our very own quid who said

"there are two powers in this world one is the sword and other is the pen. There is a great competition and
rivalry between the two"

he used his pen to liberate the Muslims from the British rule and cruelty of Hindu extremist arsonists.
it was iqbal who chose him as his leader and handed him over the steering string of muslims fate living in
the subcontinent. it was iqbal who came with a vision of a prosperous muslim state.it was he who injected
the strength within the youngsters that enabled them to strive hard, to think big,to aim at the stars,to fly
above the peaks,to make their weaknesses their strengths and to shatter the chains of slavery.it was iqbals
visionary and philosophical poetry that awakened the nation and caused the uplift of a movement that
gave birth to pakistan. jinnah on the other hand guided the nation and made sure that he fulfilled iqbals
dream for a sovereign state for muslims. he emphasized on hard work and made the nation realize that
education and commitment can do wonders and warned them to face failure if they indulged themselves
to luxury.he hated the idea of being spoon-fed and emphasized on brilliance through self reliance.

if we have to learn something from history it is to never allow yourself to be defined by someone else's
opinion of you. it is to realize the difference between slavery and freedom for a man realizes the power of
his voice when he is silenced.you know you are a slave when you realize you cant do things you wanted .

harriet tubman once said

"i freed a thousand slaves ,i could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves"

educate yourselves. Education is freedom. Freedom from mental slavery. Emancipate yourselves from
mental slavery. Because it feels good when you have the liberty of choosing your own way. it feels good
to experience the melodious freedom. It is better to live like a lion for a day than to live for a hundred
years like a jackal. it is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
