Busrapidtransit(BRT,BRTS,busway,transitway)isabusbased
publictransportsystemdesignedtoimprovecapacityandreliability
relativetoaconventionalbussystem.[1]Typically,aBRTsystem
includesroadwaythatisdedicatedtobuses,andgivesprioritytobuses
atintersectionswherebusesmayinteractwithothertrafficalongside
designfeaturestoreducedelayscausedbypassengersboardingor
leavingbuses,orpurchasingfares.BRTaimstocombinethecapacity
andspeedofametrowiththeflexibility,lowercostandsimplicityofa
