INSTRUMENTS:
1. Theodolite with tripod.
2. Measuring tape.
3. Leveling staff.
4. Ranging poles.
PROCEDURE:
1. Select a station P. Set the theodolite on point P with centering, leveling and focusing.
Taking the staff reading S1 and angle 1 on the B.M.

2. Similarly set the theodolite on another point Q and taking staff reading S2 and angle 2
3. Measure the horizontal distance (b) between P and Q by measuring tape.

4. Now determine the horizontal distance D= tan 1tan 2

5. Height of tower
