Association

June 22-28 Anthony Colmo (FCUSR President) and Klenton Sibelina CCS, CTE
(graduated BSED last April 2015) attended the 1st Dux
Gregis: International Youth Leaders Convergence, at
Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Sibelina
served as International Relations Delegates,
Transportation, and Monitoring Update Director, while
Colmo acted as International Facilitator.

June 24 FCU registered 45.83% in Nursing Licensure Exam over CN


and above the national passing percentage. (First
takers: 62.50%, Retakers: 42.50%)

July 17 CN joined in the two-week medical mission of the CN


U.S.Naval Ship at Culasi Port, Roxas City.

July 23-25 CN joined the medical mission of the Hope of God CN


Church of Hong Kong in Roxas City, Panitan, and Panay.

August 7 The Hillside Echo student publication garnered nine Hillside


individual awards and two group awards during the Echo
Regional Journalism Seminar-Workshop in Iloilo City.

August 11 Charlotte Gian Zapata, BSED III- Major in Math was CTE
chosen as one of the scholars of YMG Scholarship
Program (Your Math Guro, Inc.)

August 14 Jed Hallen Forro was Top Two and Top Four in the High School
provincial and regional levels respectively of the Search
for Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines

August 18 Alumna Lina Agreda-Dureza was recognized 2015 CN


National Nursing Administrator of the Year in Atlanta,
Georgia, USA

August 24 Rev. Webster Bedecir was elected Board Member of the Christian
Boy Scouts of the Philippines Capiz. Ed.

August 28 Mr. Rommel B. Sario was elected Secretary, Philippine CCS


Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) -
Western Visayas.

November FCU College of Nursing was awarded as Best Podium CN


27 Presentation in Emerging and Innovative Studies at the 8th
National Nursing Research Conference by the Phil. Nursing
Research Society, Inc. FCU-CN's experimental study and
research poster were finalists also.
