CONSIDER: Where have I seen God at work in my life, work, church? Who can I tell

THURSDAY: Luke 6:12-15 Mountaintop Praying
Jesus steals away to a mountaintop to be close to God and to hear (away from the
distractions and happenings of the world.)
CONSIDER: Where do you pray? Where do you get away from the crazy world and
experience the presence of God in prayer? If you dont have a place, spend some time
thinking, writing about a place youd like to try. Then plan to go there within the next
week.
FRIDAY: Luke 6:12-15 Prayer Precedes Decision
I imagine that Jesus didnt know the names of each of the 12 disciples that morning
when he woke up. But as he went through his day, he had knowing and/or he had
made space to hear and feel the nudge of God when these ordinary men were before
him.
CONSIDER: Sometimes prayer makes us ready to make important decisions; even if we
dont have the full answer, weve made space to hear and act.
SATURDAY: Luke 6:12-15 The 12; Your 12
Jesus called the 12. This was his crew! Can you name 12 people with whom you are in
Christian Community? (Christian Community being people you celebrate with, share
disappoints/failures, accept accountability from) How many can you name?
