Increase the number of staff members catering to the students during
peak hours.
Prioritise the serving to students
o Biscuits and chips could be given in exchange of cash directly
without generation of slips
o While one person is handling the billing counter a separate person
should be catering to making sandwiches/other food items.
Online ordering and pickup system could be introduced, where students
can place their order online (also have an option to pay online) and come
and pick up their order at the specified time.
Increase the variety of ready to eat items to supplement demand.
Online card payments can reduce the hassles faced by cash payments.
Applying research and forecasting models to determine the time of the
day during which the demand rises.
Vending machine can be installed for selling chips and cold drinks.
