II. Rationale and Brief Description of the Project

The English Club together with the student teachers from SLTCFI and IPESR is a school-
based accredited organization which aims to support and give importance to education as well as to
the teachers and students. This club spearheads activities will help the students to improve their
camaraderie, talents, self-esteem and skills.

With the aforementioned reasons, the club along with the student teachers team sponsors the
6TH EDUCATION WEEK AND NATIONAL READING MONTH CELEBRATION. The festival aims to
build a better foundation of learning through activities and contests. The event will be held for five
days. The book month celebration will also be a part of education week.

III. Objectives

This 6TH EDUCATION WEEK AND NATIONAL READING MONTH CELEBRATION has the following
objectives:
1. To strengthen the value of education to teachers and students.
2. To show the students hidden talents and potentials.
3. To develop unity and cooperation within the group.
4. Boost the students confidence in using the language and become good communicators.
5. To support learning through visualization.
