Philippine economic growth in 2016

Developing Asia is doing well amid slow global economic


recovery. The Philippines is an outperformer among its Asian
peers with a 6.8% GDP growth in 2016.
The construction, real estate & business services, and tourism
sectors posted above-average growth rates.
Economic growth has benefitted more the NCR, Calabarzon,
and Central Luzon over the other regions.
